Michael was a Vietnam veteran having served honorably with the United States Marine Corps 1965-1969. He loved sailing, cooking, and "all things Scottish." After much planning, Mike and Fran opened McGregor's Scottish Tea Room in Tacoma where Mike was well known and appreciated by all who met him.

Mike passed away 29 October 2003. He will be missed by us all.
